-Community Barbecue to kick off summer and raise awareness for Roma children living in poverty.

Spring 2010

-We kick off the Spring season with an exciting list of activities!

Below is a list of the coordinated events that we have for May.

-May 23rd, Community Barbecue and Silent Auction to raise money for a new gate our Cultural Center needs.

- May 16th, Community Clean Up Day. Volunteers needed. Please Contact Andres Cordova to sign up.

-We are pleased to announce a new addition to the EAA team. Andres Cordova, who has extensive experience working in non profit and community service, will be our Program and Event Coordinator.

Summer/Fall 2009

-EAA Dallas celebrates 7 years of service to our community and The Light House Cultural Center celebrates its 2nd Anniversary, September 2009.

-Order your copy of
"Goodbye Transylvania" and support the Arts. 
Proceeds to fund The Light House Cultural Center.


-There will be a book signing and release party for Samuel's upcoming book "
Goodbye Transylvania" this April. For more information please visit www.goodbyetransylvania.com .

-Join us this June at Humboldt Park, Chicago, IL for a book signing, EAA gathering and silent auction.

-Mark your calendars for
June 21. We will have the Photography and Art Exhibition of two Colombian Artists. We will also have live music and refreshments. Please join us for an exciting evening. 

-We are preparing for our first photography exhibition which we will be available for the whole community April-May.

-The New Year is here and we have many exciting activities ahead of us.  Please don't hesitate to give your ideas or inputs on our comment page.

 

Summer 2008

-We are going to have a community poetry contest.  We invite anyone with an interest in poetry to attend and submit their poems to our Program and Event Coordinator, Andres Cordova, for the contest.

-In July of 2008 we will have our European American cook off.  The proceeds from this event will go towards a recording studio for the EAA Cultural Center. 

Spring 2008

-We will have our first art and photography exhibition in April of 2008.  We have invited national and international artists to this event. However, we do encourage local artist to participate as well.  Stay posted for more details.

Fall 2007

October 2007

-We are very excited to begin our first school of theatre and arts this October. We have a special guest, Luis Fernando Paez, who is an experienced and talented mime, drama, and theatre instructor. 

-Mr. Paez has a special gift in helping his students unleash their artistic potential and creativity and has been training young artist throughout South America and Europe for the last 7 years.

September 2007

-Thank you to all who came to our Grand Opening and a special thank you to the EAA Chicago staff who joined us.

-September 20th, the Light House Cultural Center Grand Opening.
